Introduction

The distribution of the modules presented a problem. I wanted each item to be as easily accessible as possible and, at the same time, to have a "bibliographical status." This meant that the format should make it possible to cite any given slide as if it were a color plate of a book. I experimented with two formats, which are described here in their physical appearance.

The box model

The three boxes present themselves as books with a cover and a spine.
Inside each box, three components are found: the slides, the audio-tape, and a booklet that gives a thumbnail of each slide with a brief description next to it.

The folder model

The folder version was used only as an alternative for AVM DS 1.
The folder format makes it easier to store on a shelf, the plastic sleeves protect the individual transparencies, and the book appearance contributes to the feeling that this is a regular bibliographical item.
